Djomo (Mask) - Dogon Tribe

The Djomo mask symbolises intelligence. The Djomo's dance is more theatrical than the others and is performed with the Dana (masked hunter). Essentially the Djomo is the 'brains' behind a calculated and successful hunt.
Surrounding the mask are ancient Tellem homes and grain stores, some said to be 3000 years old!
