Legada Iyayi (Mask) - Dogon Tribe

Like the Tegué Tanga mask, the Legada Iyayi also represents the virgin; a depiction of purity, innocence and human life.
The Tegué Tanga dance resembles a bird in flight but, without stilts, the Legada Iyayi bares a closer resemblance to a young bird who has yet to leave the nest.
